How to Mid Year Resolutions

Welcome to summer 2008! Like most people, you probably made several resolutions in January, with the hopes and aspirations of making 2008 your best year EVER! You excited for the first few weeks, maybe even the first months. You were determined to pursue their goals This year, nothing was stopping this time!

However, if you're like most people, you have been busy, priorities have been scrambled and you dropped from the resolution 2008 Band Wagon "and have given up. Does not that sound familiar?" can refer to this vicious cycle that happens year after year?

If you can relate, you're in luck! Do you realize that still has six months left this year? As a fitness professional I I know you can still lose up to 50 pounds this year safely.

Let me repeat ... 50 pounds! This is a box 2 pounds per week. Imagine kilos lighter before 2009 rolls around. Why wait until the New Year to start making decisions again? Do you really want to wait six months to change your life, your relationships, your body and your revenue stream?

That is why we decided to develop the concept of half year's Resolutions. We midway through the years but still have the second half to go, which means that you have much time to change your life before 2009.

What is stimulating and energizing that?

So let's begin.

The first step to successfully achieve any goal is to have a vision what he wants. You must decide what you want. In addition to deciding what you want, take some time to answer why you want it. You should be very clear, strong reasons why you want to achieve their vision. How do you feel? How will it change your life? Why is it important to you?

You should know the answer these questions to its vision of being strong enough.

It is also important to realize that vision should stretch your comfort level, but can not be something that will never happen physiologically. Here is an example of weight loss: 95 +% of women, a vision and a weight equal to photography first year high school is not physically possible. Realistically, most women are not yet fully developed at that age, but many are pursuing after that goal. Dream big when developing their vision, but make sure that the dream is a fantasy.

Once you have developed its vision, it is time to put your goals in writing. It is important that your goals are smart, which is a nice acronym for:

1) Specific: When finished with the SMART process, answer "what, why, how, and how much. The objective should be so specific that you can focus your efforts.

2) Measurable: The goal must be a number assigned to it. The number tells you immediately if you did or not, and is an important part of creating the motivation to achieve the goal.

3) Attainable: The goal should be high but also must be achievable. The aim should be reason to extend your comfort zone a little, and develop attitudes, skills and abilities necessary to achieve them. As you acquire these positive traits, you will feel better about yourself and more motivated to achieve greater accomplishments.

4) is related to its overall objectives: Ensure that their objective is in their values and beliefs and overview. Many times people set goals that clearly conflicts with another area of your life, which almost guarantees that no objective will be achieved.

5) Fixed-term: something almost magical happens when setting a deadline set for their goal. You work harder. More opportunities to pass. Things slide into place a little easier. There is actually a scientific psychology behind this phenomenon unusual but serious consideration is simply that it works!

Here is an example of a SMART goal:

"I'm going to lose an average of 1.2 pounds per week from July 1 to December 31, eat right and exercise at least 4 times a week for at least 45 minutes each session, so you can fit into my old clothes and feel stronger doing my daily activities.

Now that you've written a SMART goal, these are just a few steps more that almost guarantee you will succeed.

1) Write down all obstacles that prevent you from reaching your goal. Target very, very few fasteners to complete this stage, but it lets you prepare psychologically for the occasional event or circumstance that inevitably occurs. Not only help you prepare mentally, but also allows advance to the next stage.

2) List all known resources to get past the obstacles. There is no right or wrong answer here, however, thought instead of client solutions at the forefront of those who are not prepared for the roadblock.

3) Enter the percise tasks that will be vital to achieving the objective. It may take some research to complete this step, but time will be rewarded with the efficiency that turbo-charge the performance of its goal.

4) Present a reward for getting there! Too many people never learn to enjoy the trip, so plan ahead and determine exactly what your reward will be to achieve the results you want.

5) Read your goals every day. Keep fresh in your mind constantly. It will help you recognize opportunities presented in the road.

6) Rewrite your main goal everyday. Write your goals, literally, create a mental picture of your goals and vision in your mind. This This is an extremely powerful process!

7) Do something for every day of your objective. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, you are urged to success more focused action.

8) Enjoy your trip ... and your success!

Mid-afternoon snow conditions of the question?

I took snowboarding this season and made most of my trips from late winter until now. I wondered how conditions in mid-afternoon snow compared with conditions during the winter afternoon. Here in Southern California, if you get a heavy duty track running, is like going road with my table appearing and everywhere. It's fun a little, but I like smooth cruisin ... I was wondering if the bumps is strictly a spring slush or thing is always so late in the day does not matter what season / where you going? Or just wrong horse?

This really depends on the conditions of the locality, and traffic. If you receive a discharge fresh snow after the hill has been prepared, and later in the day when the new snow will be in its natural state magnates. It can be a lot of fun! Occurs in the spring because the snow is so soft - in midwinter, the "granular combing machine is not working very hard and moguls in the same speed.
