Personal reflections on graffiti as art and vandalism

To understand why the graffiti is so reviled by the powers as mere "hooliganism" one must know what really is vandalism. Artist Gustave Courbet (a vandal known it), considered the "destruction of monuments symbolizing war and conquest, "a romantic vision might I find it hard to agree with," Since when a group of chavs never openly justify the fire For example, a bus stop in terms of socio-economic importance of shelter? I have yet to hear one. A more apt descriptor of vandalism to be the expression of an alternative culture, in this case the "criminal" one.

Vandalism runs against the property of another person, in any case and this is in my view, the root of the reason why it is considered unacceptable in a capitalist society like ours: it destroys the link between being operated by a properly fitted functional person at work, and material wealth. The labels on cars make them useless, and therefore the hours spent at work counting the funds necessary to the purchase of the vehicle and are of no value to the worker. The label has transubstantiated the work of a point at which you can use to buy things, which is essentially useless. Needless to say, for the worker, this is annoying. Your car is fucked up, and that is wasted time doing reports on how John Doe broke his legs, while to sodomize a black man in a large non-regulating surface effects of an insurance claim. The worker making the link vandalism annulled their deeds, and therefore must be in opposition to their goals, as an enemy.

To me, this is a good thing, we are reminded of the transitory nature of material things, and it seems like many teams that do not produce waste graff intended to remind us that there are things more important than appearance a public space, or the look of a car. It is a special case because the car still be useful as a tool and nothing more. Becomes no longer a status symbol the hours of sacrifice, commitment and ideals for a worker's status has had to make a possible purchase. Some people need this prompting more violent than others, but I can see graffiti as a vector to a more functional and system materially less critical thinking. This may be considered "criminal culture" above. It can also teach that events do not necessarily follow one another, and instill a bit of interest in the life of your average 40 years of age, that is perfectly fine and all, but wandering its way to the grave having left all his passions into his 20's. This "interest" is something that Taggers sometimes find, when they enter into risk-taking, tagging a train, or someone's personal property, indulging an impulse made Redundant years, when the risk was the conduit to survival, for example, by capturing animals for food, etc and therefore I am compelled to support the graffiti made in that spirit to awaken the senses, through the desecration of certain things that we Dearest: for the sake of the person who had his graffiti'd house (which is for their own good) and the ardent desire of the youth of not being completely insensitive, in a society whose rule of the actions of the past seem to treat people meaningless as economic units.

It is also important to celebrate the graffiti expressing unfavorable views even seditious, since they are socially very important. They remind us that "the right" to freedom of expression extends only to the extent that the government wants to say, and no further. Examples and treatment of Richard Barnbrook in London assembly, and laws prohibiting profess hatred of homosexuals and minorities reflect this bastardized version of freedom of expression, prohibiting the discussion of views "extreme" and "underground." Look at the picture below. To "say" this would be incurring legal action if someone of the eminence said something "bad" by these laws, or detention if someone told them that normal in the wrong place at the wrong time. The presence of the discussion evoked offensive graffiti, and warning people about the presence of more than just centrist views within their community, which is left as a platform for the articulation of more than fuel price issues, and directs the thought of the why and how these graffiti artists there, and whether you can do with them, or (preferably) why freedom of expression laws prohibit the progression of certain points of view, equally viable only a centrist. Anyway, if it makes people think, is good.

Graffiti art eventually becomes through the manufacture of a particular moment, as Banksy protests against the police power in Britain increasingly appears as a picture of homosexual relations between two officers of the law, or image down impersonating Nazi racial division in the community. Because of this, she also realizes a form of culture. Maybe a criminal, but certainly one whose main tool is the "shock and awe" tactics to deliver any message to be wide.
