* Beginning CSS

When I'm building a Web page from scratch, I like to start with the basic styles defined. It's like starting with a clean cloth and fresh brush. One of the first problems that Web designers face is that Web browsers are all different. The default font size is different from one platform to another, the default font family is different, some browsers set margins and padding body labels, while others do not, and so on. So I have a number of styles that I set as my default styles in Web pages.

CSS and the character set

blogger blogs, blogspot, blog make money

First things first, I would make sure I can configure the character set of my CSS documents in UTF-8. Although most of the design pages are written in English, some get located and I like to ensure that my web pages can be reached as easily as possible. Charset setting outside style sheet will not have priority over an HTTP header, but all other situations it will.

It is easy to set the character set to the first line of CSS document I write:

@ Charset "utf-8";

blogs, blogger, blogspot, which Money blog

Thus, if you use international characters in the content property or as class names and identification, the style sheet will still work correctly.

The style of the Council of the page

The first thing my default style sheet has on it's way to zero out the margins, padding, and borders. This ensures that all browsers place the contents in the same place, no hidden space between the browser chrome and content. For most pages web, this is too close to the edge of the text, but it is important to start there for background images and design divisions are aligned correctly.

html, body {

margin: 0px;

padding: 0px;

border: 0px;

}

Also, set the first color predetermined plane or font color to black and white default background. While most likely change for most Web design, I like to have these standard colors contained in the body and html tags at first to make the page easier to read.

html, body {

color: # 000;

background: # FFF;

}

Default font styles

The font size and font family is something that inevitably will change once the design is expected, but I always start with a default font size of 1em and a default font family Arial, Geneva, or some other sans-serif font. I can use EMS, because I like to keep my pages as accessible as possible. And use sans-serif to keep the page more readable the screen.

html, body, p, th, td, li, dt, dd {

font: 1em Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

}

There may be other places where you can find the text, but I found that p, th, td, li, dd and dt are a good start for defining the source base. They also include browsers HTML and body in case, but many override the font choices if only to define their sources in the html or body.

Headlines

HTML headers are important to use to help your site outline and allow search engines to get deeper into your site. But without styles, which are pretty ugly. So I put default styles in all. I define the font family and font sizes for each.

H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 {

font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

}

h1 {font-size: 2em;}

h2 {font-size: 1.5em;}

h3 {font-size: 1.2em;}

h4 {font-size: 1.0em;}

h5 {font-size: 0.9em;}

h6 {font-size: 0.8em;}

And do not forget the links

Styilng the colors of the links is almost always a critical part of design, but I found that if not defined in the styles of my fault, I tend to forget at least one of pseudo-classes. So the set with some small variations in blue and then change once I have the color palette for the defined site.

a: link {color: # 00F;}

a: visited {color: # 009;}

a: hover {color: # 06F;}

a: active {color: # 0cf;}

* Links are blue

* Visited links are dark blue

* Links with blue light hovering

* Active Links are even more pale blue

Links-style with a fairly innocuous color scheme that ensures you will not forget any of the classes, and makes them a little less strong than the default blue, red and purple.

The complete stylesheet

Here is the style sheet written in entirety:

Blogs are generally subject to the organic SEO traffic. Search engines like blogs because their information is constantly update. You can also optimize your blog content for specific keywords for your articles are getting more attention from the SEO. Do not forget that blogs are for informational purposes. So if you promote some services there, not overstuff, because visitors are not going to like it. People will come to your blog to find the information. We try to provide visitors with all relevant information as possible, so that your blog would like to visit again and bookmark the page.

In addition to the SEO, the other way to generate more traffic to your blog is link exchange. You can exchange links with other blogs, and as a result, receive traffic from other blogs and other blogs will greet visitors your blog. Do not be polite it can cause all visitors go to the blogs of others. link exchange strategy proved effective. It allows more traffic to visit your blog. Even if some of them out of your page, those who are interested in their services will stay with you.
