Butt Workouts - Get A Toned Butt

 

Are you trying to lose weight but cannot seem to tighten or tone your rear-end?  This is an extremely common concern among most people trying to lose weight and tone-up, especially women.  Many of the common mistakes that newcomers make is doing the wrong exercises, using the wrong cardio machines, and neglecting to use some of the best lower-body toning exercises known to man. 

Some things to become aware of if you are trying to tone your lower body and especially your butt, is that the most effective techniques for doing this are often the toughest moves you see people doing in the gym.  Moves like the squat, the lunge, the leg press, the Stairmaster, and steep inclines on the treadmill and the cross-trainer machine.  While it is unfortunate that creating an awesome rear end is tough work, there are some ways to combine cardio and weights to get double the benefit in just half the time. 

The way to kill two birds with one stone is by turning your squats and lunges into a heart-pounding cardiovascular workout.  One of the most effective ways to do this is to combine your sets by doing them back-to-back. 

For example:

Perform 15 repetitions of squats followed immediately by a set of lunges until exhaustion, rest for 20-30 seconds and repeat the same back-to-back set.  This technique is called super-setting, which is a fantastic advanced technique that can really help get you to the next level of development.  Not only is this effective for toning and shaping your glutes, but it can be applied to any body part and any combination of exercises, helping you reach new levels of toning and shaping. 

After you have gotten some results from this technique, it can be modified in a variety of different ways, basically any way you can imagine.  For example you can do lunges first, change up weight and repetition schemes, and even do a triple-set, which is back-to-back-to-back.  Anything you can imagine you can perform, which is the true key to success when it comes to creating the body of your dreams.
